Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar came under the spotlight on Friday when he was grilled by a group of Colwyn Bay pupils.
Darren visited Ysgol Pen Y Bryn to take part in a question and answer session with Year 6 pupils, who have been doing some work on Welsh culture and studying the Senedd and Welsh politics.
During the visit a number of pupils gave short speeches on whether they would like to be a member of the Welsh Assembly and the sort of skills required for the role.
“It was a real pleasure to spend time with these young people who showed a keen interest in Welsh politics and issues affecting their local area.
“They really put me in the hot seat and I was very impressed by the high standard of questions they fired at me.
“Topics discussed included world records, the environment, how to change the law and the education curriculum. They did a great job and I wish them all the very best in the future.”
