Welsh Baccalaureate too complex says exams watchdog

A review by exams watchdog – Qualifications Wales – has found that the Welsh Baccalaureate if “too complex” and teachers, pupils and parents do not fully understand it.

Community Hub plan for Llanbedr

Clwyd West AM Darren Millar has given plans for a community hub in his constituency the thumbs up.

Darren visited Llanbedr DC last week to meet with Sian Jones, who is working to develop a community hub in the Griffin, a pub which closed in the village last year.

Darren called at the newly opened Ysgol Pen Barras in Ruthin to see the ‘Lead Creative School Scheme’  in action.
